Southwest Montana Flood Relief Fund

In the hours following the flooding on June 13, 2022, the Southwest Montana Flood Relief Fund, was launched in partnership between the Park County Community Foundation and Greater Gallatin United Way to help those impacted by the Yellowstone River flooding.

Total Funds Raised and Distributed: $3.1 million

  • $1.8 million+-
    Supported 400 individuals, businesses, and nonprofits whose homes and property were impacted by the flood.

  • $780,000
    Supported nonprofits and local governments working on recovery and community resiliency efforts.

  • $430,000
    Provide economic relief to people and businesses in Gardiner, Silver Gate, Cooke City, Mammoth, WY and Colter Pass.

Rise for the River

The SW MT Flood Relief Fund received more than $1.5 million through the efforts of local resident and musician John Mayer. In partnership with Pine Creek Lodge, music streaming service Nugs.net, and many others, John Mayer and his team produced “Rise for the River,” a series of three concerts including special guests Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead and comedian Dave Chappelle.

Park County Housing Coalition

To more effectively address housing challenges in our community, the Park County Housing Coalition was re-launched in 2020 as a collaboration between PCCF and HRDC District IX. Today, with over 80 members, the Coalition brings together a wide variety of stakeholders from throughout Park County to collaborate on the implementation of the 2022 Park County Housing Action Plan.

Home Rehabilitation Loans and Grants
Community Housing Fund

Park County Arts Fund and Council

In 2024, the Park County Arts Council was launched to support and guide a vibrant and inclusive arts culture throughout Park County.

Thanks to insight from an Arts Needs Assessment and the Arts Council, PCCF granted $500,000 to local nonprofits and schools:

    School-Based Arts in Livingston School District: Visual, Music, Performing Arts Programs

  • $100,000
    Community Arts Space: Performance space enhancements at Gardiner School and Shane Lalani Center for the Arts.

  • $51,500
    Oral History & Cultural Preservation: A rich archive of regional stories from local and Indigenous communities in the Crazy Mountains.

  • $128,500
    Community Art Week & Festivala: Countywide Art Week celebrations

  • $100,000
    Park County Council for the Arts: Support of the Park County Arts Council to continue to shape a strong, inclusive arts vision for Park County.
