Life Estate

Life Estate

Our Legacy Giving Program helps you learn how to take care of yourself, your family and your community through a life estate gift. Anyone can leave a legacy and at any level.

You can deed your home, ranch, or vacation house to the Park County Community Foundation, save taxes with a current deduction, and still retain the right to live in and use the property for the rest of your life.

We’ll help guide you.

Step 1: Let us know of your philanthropic interests, so we can clarify your goals, and the terms that PCCF would agree to.

Step 2:
Contact an attorney to draw up a life estate agreement that will be co-signed by PCCF. Park County Community Foundation’s Federal Tax ID is:  #20-5581763.

Step 3: You retain use of the property during your lifetime. Upon your passing, PCCF would convert the property into charitable donations for your favorite causes.

Step 4: We would love the opportunity to thank you and welcome you into the Legacy Giving Program. Please let us know about your generosity.

We can assist by setting up a fund to support a particular organization or cause. The Park County Community Foundation receives your donation, handles tax receipts, and processes payments to disburse the funds back into the community.
