Community Foundation Launches 2025 “We Will” Community Survey
The Park County Community Foundation (PCCF) is seeking opinions and input from every Park County resident via a community-wide questionnaire. The We Will Community Survey is a key component of the resident-informed We Will initiative that provides insight and guidance for the future of Park County.
“As Park County evolves, we want to make sure we’re understanding what’s important to Park County residents as we work collaboratively to build a stronger Park County for generations to come,” said Gavin Clark, PCCF executive director. “ The We Will Community Survey allows us to gather valuable opinions on the key challenges facing the county.”
Each year, PCCF combines public opinion with hard data in its We Will Annual Report, illuminating the area’s most pressing needs and opportunities. Insights gleaned from the report directly inform PCCF’s funding decisions for their annual We Will Community Grants, totaling nearly $400,000 in 2025.
New this year, the survey includes questions around nonprofit effectiveness to understand community perceptions of the importance and impact of nonprofit organizations.
“Grounding our grantmaking decisions in both data and citizen input is our most effective tool for deep community impact,” explained Clark. “Last year, we had input from over 1,000 residents. This year, we’d like to see even more.”
Residents can access the survey online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WeWillPC25 or contact PCCF (406) 224-3920 for alternative completion methods. Information about the survey is being shared across the county through posters, and rural residents will receive postcards by mail. Paper copies are available at the HRDC office and the Livingston Food Resource Center, both located on 2nd Street in downtown Livingston.
To encourage participation, residents aged 18 and older who complete the survey can enter a drawing for one of five $100 VISA gift cards. The survey will remain open until July 31, 2025.
